The Department has been designed, structured and conceived for the “Senior / Elderly” population Over 65.
The rehabilitation, stimulation and cognitive enhancement programs are aimed at improving cognitive functions from the age of 65, to support brain aging, for the primary prevention of neurodegenerative diseases (physiological senile dementias), to the progressive slowdown of diseases already existing (Dementia and other types of Neurological Disorders), and to the cerebral recovery after cerebral accidents (Brain Injury, such as hemorrhages, strokes, thia, cerebral infarcts, and conditions after awakening coma).

"Taking care of who takes care first"


The course is dedicated to family members, caregivers, and carers, who are the first to take care of the person in an advanced pathological state; the course is structured and aimed at transmitting theoretical, scientific but above all practical knowledge of how to face the difficulty of being alongside people with "special" requests on a daily basis.

The proposed program includes:

  • Group sessions 6 - 8 participants
  • 4 meetings, lasting 1.5 hours each
  • 1 meeting per week
  • Possibility of direct comparison with other caregivers

Support course

Post-trauma cognitive stimulation / rehabilitation


The stimulation is carried out after a traumatic brain event, for example as in the case of stroke, cerebral haemorrhage, post coma awakening.

The proposed program includes:

  • Entry test
  • Individual sessions
  • Meetings lasting up to 1 hour each
  • Multiple weekly meetings (based on injury)
  • More intermediate follow-ups

Tools used: pencil-paper and Tablet with dedicated software

Cognitive-supportive stimulation / rehabilitation


When a neurological pathology is present in the initial phase, the stimulation is carried out to slow down the progress of the pathology, to prolong the cerebral and psychological effectiveness of the person.

The proposed program includes:

  • Entry test
  • Small group sessions, maximum 6 people
  • 6 meetings, lasting 1.5 hours each
  • 1 meeting per week
  • Final follow-up test

Tools used: pencil-paper and Tablet with dedicated software

Cognitive-preventive stimulation / rehabilitation


When there is no neurological pathology present, but stimulation is carried out to keep the brain "trained" and "elastic" to cope with daily challenges).

The proposed program includes:

  • Entry test
  • Small group sessions, maximum 6 people
  • 6 meetings, lasting 1.5 hours each
  • 1 meeting per week
  • Final follow-up test

Tools used: pencil-paper and Tablet with dedicated software
